Description

Kim Whatcott, a BYU graduate, is a speech pathologist who is, quite literally, helping people find their voice. She has worked with medical patients who have sustained brain injuries, among other situations, to learn to use their voices again or find another form of communication.

Going into the profession, she felt inadequate in many ways. People always expect the professionals to have all the answers. She felt like people always expect professionals to have all the answers. Starting out in any field you're going to feel inadequate, guaranteed. It's important to remember that no one is a master at anything when they first start.

One of the many things that stands out to us about Kim is that she is full of LIFE! Her advice? Do things that scare you every day.

This was a very pleasant conversation with Kim Whatcott, we hope you enjoy it as we did!
